The Secret Camping Society from your friends Miscellaneous Adventures, aims to connect aspiring adventurers, woodcrafting wizards and conscientious campers with the land they need to develop skills, connect with nature and flourish in the great outdoors.
The SCS is a members only society granting individuals or small groups access to secret forest locations in Sussex where ‘wild camping’ is permitted and #microadventures are encouraged. Members will be expected to camp in accordance with a secret set of rules mimicking those found in areas where ‘right to roam’ laws exist such as Scotland, Sweden and Norway.
For a small one-off membership fee (£20) members will be sent an illustrated handbook, exclusive Miscellaneous Adventures treats and be entitled to book an overnight stay at one of our secret woodland spots. Additional extras such as guided walks and lessons in outdoor skills are also available to further enhance the camping experience.
No tent? No problem. We have partnered with outdoor brands Rab, Poler Stuff and Millican to make sure that a lack of equipment need not be a barrier to spending time outdoors. Tents, sleeping bags and cooking equipment can all be hired to members as well as a whole host of other outdoor essentials.
